Jabulani Challange August 7 2011
Lindfield Oval to Cliff Oval Distance 42.3km. Got up 5am had jam and crunchy peanut butter on toast, cup of tea, gave the essential parts a grease and lube from chaffing, strapped my ankles, packed race supplements/nutrition, fired up the (brown bomber) kombi and headed for Lindfield oval to get an early last minute registration .Turned up at 5.55am and was first arrival with organizers greeting me with a hearty welcome.

On Friday evening we checked into the Warners on the Bay motel near Teralba. After some last minute planning and gear checking with my crew: Denise, Milov and Phil we were all in bed by 9:00 pm.

Race Report - North Face 100 (2011)
It has been exactly a year now since my first ultra – and boy has it gone quick. One year later, on exactly the same date as the previous year, I find myself unable to sleep soundly, which if you know me is very unusual. Thoughts, fears and anticipation bouncing back and forward between me and my teddy bear -of things I've forgotten to pack, going out too hard, going too easy, how I want to perform, how I don't want to perform.
